Nature: Rain

While rain fell grey on Newport and turbid breezes blew. The clouds though dark and dreary Delivered something new. Their life restoring waters Burst down with lightest weight. Such little drops of beauty Resulted growth so great. The grasses and some flowers, A tree leaf here or there, In me they grew acceptance of the challenges I bear. If I can face the raindrops' Tiny blows upon my cheeks, How small will all the trials In long hindsight to me seem.
